Happy New Year everyone! I hope that you have all managed to enjoy some festive fun with your family and friends over the Christmas break.

The start of a new year is seen as a new beginning or a fresh start and is often used as an opportunity to think about goals that we would like to achieve over the coming months. As a school we are always working to achieve the best for our children. The children have definitely all come back to school this week really keen and ready to learn.

This week we have started looking at our Roots focus of self regulation. Mrs Mason has sent home some activities via email to you all that you can do at home to support your child in developing this vital skill.

We have had snow this week which has caused much excitement amongst both the children and staff. Please make sure that your child comes into school with the appropriate winter weather gear as we will go outside whatever the weather. We are very much looking forward to another successful term working together .
